As the due date of royal baby number two looms near, parking restrictions have been erected outside Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London, where Duchess Catherine is expected to give birth.
The parking signs warn a “special event” from April 15 until April 30 will stop any vehicles parking outside Lindo Wing.
To avoid the mayhem outside the hospital which was ever-prevalent during the birth of Prince George, the media – and royal enthusiasts, too – won’t be allowed to camp outside Lindo Wing until Duchess Catherine is admitted to the hospital.

The positions of photographers, camera crews and reporters will be marked up later this week reports the UK Mirror.
UK media are claiming the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be receiving a 10 per cent loyalty discount from St Mary’s Hospital like every other mother who gives birth a second time at Lindo Wing.
But after looking at the fine print The Weekly understand the discount is only given to mothers who are uninsured and who are choosing a standard delivery room – not a deluxe package.
We’ll leave it to you to guess whether the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge fit the bill.
The fine print from St. Mary’s Hospital
For a normal delivery in a standard room over one night, it will cost them £5,215 and additional nights cost £945 each, without the discount.
Antenatal care overnight costs £945 and regular antenatal attendance over three hours costs £420.
