Kate, 32, hasn’t been been seen in public since the palace confirmed last month that she is expecting her second child with Prince William.
The royal couple were forced to make the announcement early after she became unwell with acute morning sickness. The Duchess is believed to be about 10 weeks into the pregnancy.
Palace officials said at the time that the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace, but a family friend has told People magazine that Kate has since moved to her parents’ house.
“When she’s there, Kate can just relax and sit on the sofa and not have to worry about having to deal with all the staff and everything else that comes with a big palace full of rooms,” the source said.
Prince William said last month that he was “hoping things just settle down and she feels a bit better”.
The baby is rumoured to be due in April.
