The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed a Prince.
The littlest member of the Royal Family and the third in line to the British Throne was born at 16:24 UK time, weighing 8lbs 6oz.
It has been reported that the baby is currently being referred to as “baby Cambridge” while a name is decided on by the royal couple.

And while they are yet to announced a name, the baby already has a royal title. He will be known as His Royal Highness Prince (name) of Cambridge.
Catherine was admitted to the private Lindo wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London yesterday where media have been waiting outside for weeks.

The new addition to the royal family has already has been welcomed around the world, with world leaders and even Hollywood stars sending their congratulations to the William and Catherine via social media.
The Queen, who is delighted by the new royal addition, was the first to know if the pair welcomed a Prince or a Princess.
