How Harry celebrated his birthday

How Harry celebrated his birthday

Prince Harry turned 29 on Sunday.

He’s known as the Party Prince, but Harry seems to be settling down as he matures choosing to celebrate his 29th birthday in a more low-key fashion than he is used to.

The fourth-in-line to the throne, who celebrated his birthday on Sunday, was expected to be marking the occasion at a private function for close friends.

Harry’s current love interest, girlfriend Cressida Bonas, was expected to join the Prince and a few friends in marking the occasion.

The birthday boy attended a lavish wedding with his brother by his side on the weekend, and could not afford to party too hard on his birthday on Sunday as he is to take part in a gruelling 24-hour training session for his upcoming South Pole charity walk on Monday.

Following infamous pictures of the fourth-in-line to the throne playing ‘nude billiards’ in Las Vegas emerging last year, Harry has been on his best behaviour.

It’s been a year of highs and lows for the Prince who has certainly matured over the past 12 months.

Since being snapped in a compromising position at a Las Vegas hotel during a boys weekend with his army mates the helicopter has spent a three-month tour of duty in Afghanistan and of course become and uncle for the first time.

He has also thrown himself into his charity work overseeing the work of his organisation Sentebale in the southern African kingdom of Lesotho, and proudly carrying on his work with children’s charity WellChild.

Harry is expected to visit Australia next month as a guest of honour at the Royal Australian Navy’s centenary celebrations, News Ltd reports.
