Heavily pregnant Duchess spotted out as she and Wills treat fans outside the hospital with breakfast

She’s believed to be around five days overdue but that hasn’t stopped Kate Middleton from soldiering on with business!

The heavily pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge was spotted by photographers and members of the public behind the wheel of a Range Rover on Tuesday morning driving out of Buckingham Palace, after taking Prince George for a swim at the Queen’s pool.

It’s believed she was taking George, 21 months, to Buckingham Palace’s covered pool, used by the royal family and staff, where the young Prince has been learning to swim.

Royal watchers have speculated the 33-year-old could have gone swimming with her son in an attempt to induce labour as her pregnancy reaches the uncomfortable late stages – a method often recommended by obstetricians.

Duchess Kate was spotted behind the wheel of her Range Rover at Buckingham Palace with Prince George and his nanny Maria Borallo.

Regardless if that was her intention, the Duchess seems to be happily carrying on with her daily life, giving no indication she is about to go into labour with the second royal baby due any moment now.

The news of the sighting will no doubt come as a disappointment to the devoted superfans, who have been camping outside the Lindo Wing, where she is due to give birth, or staying up til all hours on social media, hoping to get the first snippet of news that the baby is on its way.

Clearly keenly aware of the anticipation that is building, Duchess Kate and Prince William decided to thank this most vigilant group of followers for their loyal support by sending them a gift.

A complimentary breakfast of pastries and coffees was sent by the royal couple to the dedicated crowds camped outside the hospital.

For the accumulating media pack, instead of breakfast, they got a visit from palace press officers, causing excitement to mount that an announcement was imminent.

Royal watchers camped outside the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s hospital, Paddington, show off their gift of a free breakfast from the Duke and Duchess.

“They say they came to relax us and have a chat because there are so many media gathering here,” The Daily Mirror’s Victoria Murphy said.

“However it had the opposite effect and everyone got very excited and thinking there would be an imminent announcement, but they insisted there would not be.”

“While they are saying there is no news yet, the birth could still come any moment now so that does not mean she will not be admitted later on today.”

Duchess Catherine herself has previously confirmed she is due “mid to late April” and with the final days of the month now drawing to a close, many believe she is in fact past her due date.

Duchess Kate’s not showing any signs of slowing down just because she’s heavily pregnant!

Doctors have also said that Duchess Catherine is five days overdue and may have to be induced.

British bookmakers widely favoured an ANZAC day baby, with April 25th by far the most popular date for the second royal with 80% of punters placing bets that that would be the day the bub arrived. Clearly though, those punters have already lost out!

We guess we’ll just have to be patient as the Great Kate Baby Wait continues!
