She was ‘rubbish’ at pulling beers on her recent year in Oz, but she’s vowed to come back with Prince Harry.
Party boy Prince Harry had secret tips on where to sample Sydney’s hotspots while on leave from his navy gala duties last weekend – his girlfriend Cressida Bonas had all the inside info, having recently had a job pouring beer in one of the city’s pubs!
Before being chosen by the world’s most eligible bachelor in May last year, the pretty dancer was on a working holiday in Oz, living in a shared house in Bondi. “Her friend Princess Eugenie encouraged her to come here after regaling her with tales of her own holiday,” says a friend.
“Lots of the royals have a soft spot for Australia and Cress was looking for a break from uni, so backpacking for a year seemed like a great idea.”
Travelling with her best friend Georgia Forbes, the blonde beauties went door-to-door in 2011 asking for work in Sydney’s top restaurants and bars. “She may come from an affluent family, but Cress was paying her own way and asked for a lot of shifts at different places,” says the friend.
