Fulfilling her duties as the royal patron for the East Anglia Children’s Hospice charity, Catherine is calling upon Britain’s most philanthropic and wealthy to attend the exclusive gala in Norfolk.
The Mail Online have reported that only 80 tickets will sent out and cost between £6,000 and £10,000, a pop, or a cool $AUD18, 823.
Catherine is a natural at parties so she’ll no doubt she’ll host a spectacular event.
The lavish event will be held at Houghton Hall, Palladian, the stately home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley, which is only a short drive from the Duke and Duchess’ Anmer Hall home.
The big bash is set ten days after the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations, on June 22nd.
According to reports, the ball will include a champagne reception, a lecture by writer Anthony Horowitz, live jazz, a magician, and food by top chefs including Tom Kerridge.
While there has been no official word from the palace, a spokesperson told Hello! “that if the Duchess does attend, details will be released nearer the time.”
Clearly East Anglia Children’s Hospice charity means a lot to the 34-year-old. In mid-March travelled to the nearby market town of Holt in Norfolk to open a new EACH charity shop.
Catherine always has her two babies on her mind. The proud mama purchased a book and a toy for them.
With her children on her mind, Catherine purchased a Tom Kitten Beatrix Potter figurine for Charlotte and a copy of Fireman Sam’s Favourite Tales for her eldest, Prince George, who turns three in July.
“Fireman Sam is George’s favourite,” she quipped.
Catherine has been a proud royal patron for the charity since 2012.
The organisation supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
