During a trip to Scotland, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their campaign to highlight mental health.

The pair was all smiles, looking relaxed as they chatted to locals in the city of Dundee.

One well-wisher, Fearghas Simpson asked Catherine if William still rides a motorcycle – something he loved while the couple went to university in Soctland back in the early 2000’s.

“He’s still riding it,” she replied.

Adding rather candidly, “It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it. I’m terrified. Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off it.”

Cheeky George follows in his father’s footsteps but hopefully not when it comes to motorbikes.

The Duchess was particularly amused by one royal fan, eight-year-old Evie Will who wore a mask of Queen Elizabeth.

“Where did you find that?” she asked, laughing, while her husband chatted to her about school.

“He was asking me what I like at school and what productions I have seen at the theatre, and I said I like maths and I’ve seen James and the Giant Peach and the BFG. He said that he didn’t like maths. It was cool to meet them, but I was kind of scared,” young Evie recalled to Us Weekly.

Catherine and William’s effort in campaigning for mental health awareness has been well-received.

Catherine and William regularly enjoyed visiting the city during their time at St Andrews, with the mother-of-two gushing about her time at the Scottish university.

“I have very fond memories of coming to Dundee when I was a student,” she told a group of Dundee University students.

Kensington Palace took a moment to recount the royal sweetheart’s special visit to their old university. The couple’s friendship blossomed into love while they both studied history of art.

“The Duke and Duchess spent last night in St Andrews, where they first met,” the palace tweeted along with a snap of the pair from their college days.

Back in 2012, William and Catherine attended a University event celebrating their 600th anniversary.

“I have been able to lead as ‘normal’ a student life as I could have hoped for and I’m very grateful to everyone, particularly the locals,” the Queen’s grandson explained.

“This is a very special moment for Catherine and me. It feels like coming home.”

Kate was a vision in blue, wearing a Christopher Kane design.
