This year’s card features a unique and vibrant photo of the royal pair surrounded by a group of Croatian dancers dressed in traditional garb.

Judging by those smiles, it’s clear that Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall enjoyed the show.

For this year’s card, the royal pair shared a simple, yet thoughtful, message.

The colourful picture was taken in March of this year on their official tour of Croatia and the Western Balkans.

According to the Daily Mail, aides to the royal pair said the snap was chosen simply because they “loved it.”

Set in crisp-white with a red border, this year’s festive offering states, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”

Along with these words, the front of the card features symbols of the Prince of Wales’s feathers and the Duchess’s cipher.

The pristine front of this year’s Christmas card allows the picture inside to shine.

Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, chose this loved-up snap for last year’s Christmas card.

This year’s card comes as a rather colourful change of pace from last year’s card which showed the royals grinning on their annual Scottish holiday.

It’s been a busy time of year for Charles and Camilla. Last week, the pair were joined by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge for the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.

The Royal Family posed for a historical portrait ahead of the lavish event.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the Cambridges’ 2016 Christmas card featuring Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Last week, the Royal Family released the stunning new portrait as they attended the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.
