When we first saw those glorious photos of the young royals out and about at the polo in July, we couldn’t contain our glee, especially as it was only the second time we’d seen baby Archie.

But in new reports, it’s been revealed that the young Sussex tot’s day out was quite the special event as he met some very important people.

According to HELLO!, it was at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Match in Wokingham earlier this month where Archie was introduced to his young cousins, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

However, the day wasn’t as significant for six-year-old Prince George as had already had an introduction courtesy of his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Duchess Catherine, Duchess Meghan and their children watched Princes William and Harry play against each other in the polo match, marking the first official joint appearance for the brothers for 2019.

The Queen and Prince Philip were some of the first royals to meet Archie following his birth in May. This was confirmed at Archie’s first photo call when Duchess Meghan confirmed they had just bumped into the Duke of Edinburgh as they went to meet the press.

Shortly after his name was announced, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet photo of the Queen, Prince Philip and Duchess Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland gazing lovingly at baby Archie.

It was then revealed that Prince William and Duchess Catherine journeyed to Harry and Meghan’s Windsor home of Frogmore Cottage to meet their nephew when he was one week old. Proud grandfather Prince Charles along with Duchess Camilla also went to Windsor to meet Archie soon after.

That wasn’t the only revelation from the polo match that has been unearthed.

An unseen photo shared by The Army in London on Twitter depicted all three Cambridge children with their dad Prince William alongside two soldiers and an Irish Wolfhound almost as big as the kids!

“The Army In London, including @irish_guards Wolfhound mascot Domhnall, is wishing HRH Prince George a very happy 6th birthday today. Our Soldiers are always on duty, ready to serve! #PrinceGeorge,” the photograph was captioned.

Well this is a bit cute!
