While Duchesses Catherine and Duchess Meghan were busy hosting the ultimate play date with their young children at the polo, there was another glamorous set of Windsors who stepped out together on the same day, and they put on just as much of a glorious display.
Indeed day nine of Wimbledon saw not one, but three members of the royal family in attendance: Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Zara Tindall and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
And while they may not have sat together at the prestigious event, the stunning threesome each stunned us in their own right by wearing some seriously glamorous attire.
Camilla, who is a known fan of the tennis, arrived looking fresh as a daisy in a beautiful white dress, which she paired with a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and a chic set of pearls.
First attending a private lunch in the members dining room, Camilla then made her way to the royal box where she got the best view of the on-court action as it happened.
Meanwhile, Sophie look radiant in a blue dress, which featured a paisley print with short floaty sleeves and a cinched waist.
The gorgeous design was created by Peter Pilotto, who is a clear favourite in royal circles. He was behind the wedding dress Princess Eugenie wore in October last year!
Wearing her hair in an effortless ponytail, Sophie was glowing, as per usual.
She’s certainly been having a busy summer so far, with her and husband Prince Edward only recently returning to London after a whirlwind trip to Scotland, where they mixed with a number of locals in Dufftown.
She’s clearly already feeling refreshed after the big trip – we love her vibrant Wimbledon ensemble!
Joining the royals on day nine of Wimbledon was Zara Tindall, who attended the tournament alongside her husband Mike.
Zara wore a chic blue and white striped shirt dress for the day, which she paired with a set of sunglasses. Wearing her signature chop in loose waves, the royal was looking well and truly on-trend.
Fans were initially confused upon clapping eyes on the royals, who were not seated in the Royal Box. Instead, Zara and Mike opted for seats in the stands on centre court.
But there could be a very good reason for the unexpected seating choice.
As per a report by Hello!, one potential explanation could be that the pair were guests of Rolex, as they were seated near a number of people who have close ties to the brand.
This included Formula One racing drivers Nico Rosberg and Sir Jackie Stewart.
However, whatever their reasoning may be, it didn’t stop us from revelling in the royal sighting at the tournament.
Since the Championship kicked off at the start of July, we’ve seen a slew of royals and celebrities alike take to the grand stands to watch the action unfold.
This included Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, who attended on separate days during the first week.
Since then, we’ve been treated to a spectacle of stars including Geri Horner, Sienna Miller and Anna Wintour, who have also put on a fashionable display at the globally-watched tournament.
