The 79-year-old rocker and his wife Penny Lancaster joined Liam’s mum, model Rachel Hunter, 54, at the lavish ceremony in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the couple wed at the stunning Church of St Ignatius, which featured heavily in Game Of Thrones.

“Magical day filling our hearts with love and pride,” Penny, 53, wrote on social media.

“What a wonderful union of the Stewarts and the Artukoviches,” Rod chimed in. “May they continue to find joy, love and laughter for as long as they may live.”

Meanwhile, Liam’s sister Ruby, 36, admitted, “I don’t think I can go to another wedding after this… nothing will ever compare!”

ROB AND PENNY’S LOVE STORY

Rod and his wife Penny renewed their vows in 2023, just ahead of their 16th wedding anniversary.

The rocker had been touring Down Under and purposefully spaced out his gigs to make time for this special ceremony.

“They love Australia and have incredibly happy family memories of their time there when the boys were little. They think there’s something magical about Australia and want to exchange new marriage vows there.

“Penny’s made Rod a very happy man, and he can’t wait to celebrate their against-all-odds union,” says the couple’s long-time friend.

The couple, who married at a medieval monastery in Italy’s Portofino on June 16, 2007, have faced their share of highs and lows. But they always seem to come back around to each other. In 2017, they famously renewed their vows beneath an ancient beech tree in the grounds of their Essex home.
