Simon admits he was worried he would cry tears of joy when he married his sweetheart Lauren Hannaford – but instead the “most amazing day” of his life was full of love and laughter!
The only tears came from friends who shared in this celebration, overwhelmed by the depth of feeling between Simon and “Loz”, the gorgeous personal trainer he met during a Wiggles tour six years ago.
“Oh, wow!” gasped Simon when he finally saw his bride in her gown, a specially designed J’Aton Couture French lace dress with a show-stopping train and floor-length veil, which Loz says made her feel like a queen.
Celebrant Nina De Borde married the couple, who went on to celebrate the incredible day at Sydney’s Luna Park with all their loved ones including Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, newlywed Wiggles Emma Watkins and Lachy Gillespie and original Wiggles Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt.

The Wiggles family were united for the happy occasion including Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, newlywed Wiggles Emma Watkins and Lachy Gillespie and original Wiggles Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt.

The reception in a grand room overlooking Sydney Harbour was styled by Diane Khoury from DK Weddings & Events, Decorative Events & Exhibitions and Chandeliers to Die For.
The newlyweds are radiating.
“I’m excited by the thought of seeing Loz and I get butterflies in my stomach – but today it’s more like a flock of seagulls,” Simon told guests in his speech.
The adorable duo enjoyed the delights of Luna Park.
Simon thanked Blue Wiggle Anthony Field for bringing the two of them together by hiring Lauren – a renowned personal trainer and former national champion gymnast – to keep the Wiggles in top touring shape all those years ago.
“They were always going to find each other. I think the universe would have brought them together, they belong together,” Anthony mused.
