In the touching portrait, which was released on the Swedish Royal Court’s official website, Princess Victoria of Sweden gazes proudly into the camera as she cradles her tiny newborn.
The mother-son duo look resplendent in coordinating blue ensembles.
The beautiful snap was accompanied with a message of thanks from the Royal Family, which read: “Many thanks for all greetings, good wishes and congratulations we received in connection with Princess Estelle’s birthday and Prince Oscar’s birth. We appreciate all the concern and that so many share our joy.”
Details of Prince Oscar’s christening were also confirmed, with his baptism scheduled for Friday, May 27 at the Palace’s Royal Chapel in Stockholm.
Last month, another sweet photo was shared of the third-in-line to the Swedish throne.
This time it showed proud big sister Princess Estelle, four, with her younger sibling.
The Swedish Royal Family is set to expand yet again with Prince Carl Philip, who is Victoria’s younger brother, and his wife Princess Sofia expecting their first child, who is due this month.
