Crown Princess Mary is known for her on-point fashion choices, even in times of self-isolation – and her latest picture is case in point.
The Danish royal shared a rare image on Instagram this week showing off her working from home set up amid the COVID-19 health pandemic.
It’s certainly not often we see royal family members at work in such relatable set-ups to our own, which made the image all the more special.
Sharing the picture on Mary’s charitable organisation’s Instagram account, The Mary Foundation, the royal was seen partaking in a video call with three other people.
In the caption, she explained how they had discussed ways to support people throughout and after the COVID-19 health pandemic’s peak.
“Today, we have held a board meeting of the Mary Foundation in very different circumstances than we usually do. Like everyone else, we have to keep our distance and we met at Teams,” Mary explained.
“We also don’t usually communicate from these meetings – or take pictures for that matter. But I think this particular situation calls for us to open up a little more to what’s going on at the Mary Foundation right now.”
The caption continued: “Today’s most important issue was that the consequences of the Corona crisis actually hit straight into many of the challenges we face in the Mary Foundation. There is a risk that more people will feel lonely, domestic violence escalating, and isolation and physical distance will go beyond the well-being of children and young people.”
As a result, the day’s meeting revolved around how to support these people the most.
In the image, Mary is seen inside her at-home office with some interesting details.
Standing out most of all are images of her four children from when they were younger, which are placed proudly on the far wall.
The gorgeous black and white shots show Prince Christian, now aged 14, Princess Isabella, 13, and nine-year-old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine during what looks to be a special photoshoot capturing a moment in time.
Of course, there was one other detail we couldn’t ignore – how Mary was dressed.
With her hair worn loose and with no makeup, the Princess wore a dreamy oat coloured long-sleeve jumper featuring a unique puff sleeve.
A cosy, yet chic style we’re keen to mirror ourselves!
