Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has been charming the world since she married her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, in 2004.
The 49-year-old is always sartorially on point, and she sticks to procedures with strict elegance.
For photo protocols, she is always ready with her perfect blowout and understated makeup.
However, during a trip to Haslev to celebrate the city’s railway’s 150th anniversary, she shook things up by taking a rare and cheeky selfie.
The Danish royal Instagram shared a carousel of pictures from the couple’s trip, and the fourth image featured Mary in her gorgeous sunglasses with her hair swept behind her as she rocked a natural look.

Of course, it would be a waste not to mention the chic Massimo Dutti reversible coat she wore for the occasion, which she styled with a white shirt tucked under a navy jumper and black pants.
In the background, a gorgeous 45-metre-high forest tower decorated the selfie, and the structure looks eerily high, but that didn’t seem to faze Mary.
According to the post’s caption, the structure sits 140 metres above sea level.
When the weather is clear, visitors can see “all the way to Copenhagen and Malmö,” situated over 50 kilometres away.
Mary’s presence at the station town had been put on hold for a year due to the pandemic, and Fredrik was finally able to place a plaque to commemorate the city’s achievements.
The royal has been wowing with her fashion choices during her return to her usual royal event calendar.
However, her aesthetic has become more lucrative than ever because it’s infused with an ethical twist.
