It might seem scary to think, but Christmas is officially less than two months away – and Crown Princess Mary just kick-started our official countdown.
Stepping out in her home country on Tuesday, the Danish royal launched the annual Christmas stamp – an iconic moment taking place each year in the Scandinavian country marking the start of the festive season and paying tribute to the local community.
Of course, one can’t celebrate Christmas without wearing a festive outfit to boot, and Princess Mary’s hook, lined, and sunk the feat like nobody’s business.
As she joined guests at Julemaerkehjemmet Liljeborg in Roskilde, the Crown Princess glowed in a full purple ensemble featuring a loose fitting high collared top with a keyhole neckline.
She belted it at the waist and paired a matching set of wide-legged trousers to finish the ensemble.
Wearing bright, but minimal makeup and with her hair swept and straight, Mary’s effortless chic was a sight to behold.
Later in the day, the Crown Princess doubled up events by presenting the Corporate Responsibility Award, a recognition of companies that have kept social responsibility top of mind in their practices.
In her bright purple outfit, Mary was a crowd standout for obvious reasons.
Like any of Mary’s outfits, we do love to do our own little peruse of the shops to try to recreate her on-point looks.
Which is exactly what we decided to do in this instance – Christmas is coming after all..
