There are plenty of stylish power couples in this world, but Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik might well be the most polished of them all.
The dazzling pair stepped out at Fredensborg Castle in Denmark on Wednesday, January 30 looking sharp in military ensembles that turned heads the world over.
But it was all in the details when it came to their wardrobe choices for the evening.
The banquet event was held for Naval officers at the castle, with the couple’s striking outfits paying respect to their efforts.
The annual event, hosted by Queen Margrethe, awarded officers for good service at the Navy.
With respect, Mary and Frederik both wore an array of royal orders adorned to their chests.
Mary, who styled her hair in an up-do looked elegant with red-painted nails and a sleek black clutch.
Meanwhile Prince Frederik looked dapper in the Danish Navy Uniform with a cap.
The glamorous night out comes after Mary and her family attended a Danish handball game earlier in the week.
The former Tasmanian showed her patriotism for her husband’s homeland as she, Frederik and three of their young children wildly cheered for the Danish team at the World Championship final against Norway.
Prince Christian, 13, Princess Isabella, 11 and Prince Vincent, eight were pictured yelling with delight alongside their parents as the Danish team took home an impressive 31-22 win.
Late last year, the stunning brunette debuted her brand new up-do hairstyle, which she seems to have taken a great liking to.
Up until then, Mary was often pictured wearing her hair out – but her chic low bun was admired by the masses, and we’re glad she’s sticking with the style!
And the Danish royals have certainly been enjoying a cosy European winter this year.
On Christmas day, the royals were pictured wrapped up warm in the chilly Danish city of Aarhus as she, her husband Crown Prince Frederik and their four children attended a Christmas church service at the Cathedral.
Earlier in November, the family rugged up in autumnal-themed colours to attend Denmark’s annual horse racing event. In true royal style, they entered the event via a horse-drawn carriage before taking to their balcony to watch the race.
