Crown Princess Mary has struck a chic sartorial chord with her subtle homage to her Australian roots during the opening of the Danish Parliament.
The Hobart born royal arrived at the annual event, which rings in the new legislative year with her husband, Crown Prince Frederik and Queen Margrethe II.
Mary wore a delectably stylish dark navy-blue jacket, and she expertly styled it with a deep burgundy purse and hat.
Her impeccably chosen blazer was designed by Australian label Scanlan and Theodore, which perfectly paid tribute to her sunburnt home country.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Mary has used a fashion moment to connect to her roots.
Last year the mother-of-four also wore an Australian designed blazer by the brand Willow. She paired the piece with a pleated coral midi skirt, a floral brooch, and a black pillbox hat.
In June of this year, the 49-year-old wore a dress from Sydney fashion label Moss & Spy to attend Copenhagen’s Mind of Music concert.
The gorgeous midi length light blue lace dress featured a unique scalloped neckline and cap sleeves, which she styled with a dark blue purse.
It appears the Danish royal has a penchant for tonally matching aspects of her outfits, and it’s clear why.
Her burgundy accessory collaboration this week looks absolutely satisfying to the eye, and it indeed took her look from pretty to standout moment.
While we wait for Mary to wear another homegrown brand, add some unity in your life by including these matching accessories to your wardrobe to add the perfect touch to your outfits.
