In a rare and glorious move, Crown Princess Mary and her young family have shared an incredible new video providing a rare glimpse into royal life – and it’s all for a very festive reason.
The Danish royal family have celebrated Christmas by sharing the clip featuring all four of Mary’s young children, as they feed the Palace horses with a festive supper.
The opportunity to see such a raw and candid snapshot of the gorgeous family doesn’t come by often, so naturally, we’re revelling in its perfection.
Sharing the video on Instagram, 47-year-old Mary, along with Crown Prince Frederik, 51, Prince Christian, 14, Princess Isabella, 12, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, both eight, are seen visiting the Palace horse shed.
Together, they decorate a beautiful Christmas tree there, and make a sweet festive supper for the animals.
There are a few very important things to note – firstly, Mary’s children are so grown up!
Prince Christian is getting taller by the minute, and we can’t get over how much Princess Isabella is looking like her mother these days.
Meanwhile, adorable young twins Josephine and Vincent are also looking a lot older – the pair look to be thoroughly enjoying taking part in the Christmas festivities.
Next to the Instagram video, a caption reads: “Merry Christmas from the Crown Prince family”.
A number of fans have commented on the video to share their delight, with one writing: “I enjoyed watching last year’s and so chuffed to watch this year’s.”
Another fan from Tasmania, where Mary originally reigns from, commented: “Merry Xmas Mary, Fred and children, love from Tasmania”

It’s common for royal families to share sweet insights into their life at Christmas.
Across the pond, the British royals will be dropping their Christmas card photos any day now.
This year, we’re hoping to see new snaps of the Cambridge family – and hopefully catch another glimpse of one-year-old Prince Louis!
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are also expected to share a new image – and we can only hope it includes baby Archie, who is now seven months old.
Time flies!
