It seems like only a few months ago that Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank tied the knot in a beautiful, windswept ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor castle.
But in what seems like an alarmingly quick occurrence, the pair have just marked two years to the day since that fateful event.
Oh, and Princess Eugenie found the best way to do it.
Taking to her Instagram platform, the British royal shared a video with a series of gorgeous, never-before-seen pictures of herself and Jack.
In the slide show, which plays to the song Baby It’s You by London Grammar, Eugenie and Jack’s candid relationship is laid bare for all to see.
“Been the best 2 years married to you and 10 years with you in total.. happy memories always my dear Jack,” Eugenie wrote.
In the first few snaps, Eugenie and Jack are seen on various vacations and getaways.
One beautiful picture shows them on a walk in the woods.
Another features the pair rugged up for the snow.
And in several glorious images at the end, the pair are seen in official stills from their wedding day on October 12.
Eugenie’s dreamy Peter Pilotto wedding dress was a spectacle enough at the time – but seeing these new photos of it only reiterates why we fell in love with the drop-back, long-sleeved design.
In September, Eugenie announced she and Jack were expecting their first child.
“Jack and I are so excited for early 2021,” Eugenie wrote in an Instagram post featuring a pair of baby bear booties.
A spokesperson also added at the time: “The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
The pair have plenty of support from their following.
In her recent anniversary Instagram post, a number of people took to the comments section to wish them both well.
“Thank you for staying down to earth!” One wrote.
Another added: “Such a lovely, down to earth couple and such an adorable slideshow – thanks for sharing.”
“This is so cute. Happy times for happy people. Keep living the dream. Special times for you both when carrying your 1st baby,” one more commented.
And with that, two years are officially behind these two.
We can’t wait to see what the next two hold – we’re sure it’ll be very colourful with a new addition to boot.
