When it comes to high-profile mother-daughter relationships, Sarah Ferguson and her two daughters Princess Beatrice, 32, and Princess Eugenie, 30, have always been incredibly close.
And this week, their unbreakable bond was put on full display after Princess Eugenie took to her Instagram page to pay tribute to her “dear mumsy” on her 61st birthday.
Posting to her whopping one million followers, the pregnant royal praised her “completely unique” mother while sharing a slew of never-before-seen candid family photos from behind palace walls.
“Happy Birthday to my dear mumsy… You are one of a kind,” the 30-year-old began.
“There were too many pictures to choose from that show how completely unique you are,” Princess Eugenie, who is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank in early 2021, signed off her touching post.

In the past, Sarah Ferguson has dropped big hints she was getting into grandmother mode, admitting she’d make an “excellent” granny.
