What better time to celebrate love for your country than by sharing incredible new pictures of two of its cutest residents?
Indeed the Swedish royal family have done exactly that as they celebrate the country’s National Day, which took place on June 6.
In the gorgeous new images, Princess Estelle, 7 and Prince Oscar, 3 are seen in a series of images that can only be described as pure heaven.
The stunning new album features little Princess Estelle wearing a cute traditional smock dress which includes the colours that appear on her country’s flag -yellow and blue.
The gorgeous young royal shares a wide smile, revealing a couple of missing teeth – the tooth fairy must have come to visit recently!
Meanwhile little Oscar wears a light blue button down shirt and blue shorts.
We can’t believe how fast they’ve grown!
The pictures were taken in the gardens of Haga Palace, which is where the children reside with their parents Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
In another gorgeous snap, the young pair work together to pick flowers, and we cannot stop staring!
The Swedish royal family got into the spirit of the day together in Stockholm, stepping out in their traditional dress to celebrate the festivities.
Princess Sofia was seen with her husband Prince Carl Philip, and the striking pair were all smiles as they waved at onlookers.
Meanwhile elder sister Crown princess Victoria also glowed on the day as she held hands with Estelle in their near-matching ensembles.
The only difference? Victoria was wearing a head scarf known as a Sverigedräkten – which is only worn by Swedish princesses when they are married.
And we can’t forget the Queen and King themselves, who also looked regally stunning as enjoyed the festivities on the day.
Indeed Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf looked lively and well as the sun beamed down on them.
The national day itself is a celebration of the election of King Gustaf Vasa, which historically is considered the moment modern Sweden was founded.
As well as the public festivities, the Swedish royals attended a traditional National Day Concert in Skansen. That evening, the King and Queen play host to guests for a reception to celebrate the National Day.
With such a warming display of fun and colour for their national day, we’re tempted to bookmark Sweden as next on our list of places to visit!
