Princess Diana’s memory lives on in a new babywear collection

A new babywear collection is making its way into the hearts of Princess Diana and Duchess Catherine fans across the globe!

In partnership with The Diana Award, a charity set up in the late princess’ memory, Duchess Catherine’s favourite maternity label Séraphine has released a line of baby dresses, rompers and accessories, with 12 per cent of the proceeds being donated.

But what makes the Diana Collection even more special is that the designers are using a unique pattern created by world-famous tartan weavers Lochcarron following the death of the much-loved princess in 1997.

The blue tartan was designed in Scotland immediately after Princess Diana’s death, while the soft pink tartan followed in 2009.

Tessy Ojo, CEO of The Diana Award told People, “This allows us to continue the princess’s legacy. Having theses amazing outfits allows us to continue that work. We told Séraphine that we had this pattern, which they can use, so this is all good!”

Duchess Catherine is an avid fan of Séraphine’s maternity clothing.

Both the collection and charity have had the nod of approval from fans as well as Princess Diana’s sons William and Harry.

“It’s hitting the spot for all lovers of British heritage. And the princes are aware of the baby range and the fact it will help raise fund for the charity,” founder of the brand Cecile Reinaud said.
