A heavily photoshopped image of Princess Diana standing next to Kate Middleton has been published on the cover of US magazine.
The front of the current issue of Newsweek features a digitally aged Diana, walking alongside a clearly adoring Kate.

The headline reads “Diana at 50: If she were here now” and was designed to commemorate the royal’s 50th birthday on Friday.
Inside, Newsweek editor and Diana biographer Tina Brown reflects on what Diana would be like if she were alive today.
“Diana would have been 50 this month,” Brown writes. “What would she have been like? Still great-looking: that’s a given.”
The article goes on to predict Diana would have moved to New York, had Botox to maintain her looks and be extremely close to Kate Middleton and her family.

Diana died aged 36 in a car crash in Paris in 1997. Her sons Princes William and Harry were just 15 and 12 when their mother died.
Diana never met Kate, who now wears her prized sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
