The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were all smiles as they waved to crowds gathered for Princess Charlotte’s christening.
The service, which was held at St Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, is the first time the Cambridge’s have been seen publicly together as a family-of-four.
The proud family were photographed walking toward the church, with Kate pushing Charlotte in a vintage pram while George toddled alongside William.
Kate looked stunning in an Alexander McQueen coat and a Jane Taylor Hat.
Thought it was Prince George who once again stole the show wearing a cute red and white outfit, similar to one his father, William wore as a child.
Earlier the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrived.
Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton, along with her sister Pippa also came to share the special occasion.
The ceremony, which started at 4:30pm local time, was witnessed by fans and locals who came to wish the Princess well from the paddock beside the church.
Adding to the excitement, the godparents chosen for Charlotte were also announced – and none of them are royal.
Kate and Wills chose Sophie Carter, James Meade, Adam Middleton, The Hon Laura Fellowes and Thomas van Straubenzee for the honourable role.
Charlotte wore a replica of The Royal Christening Robe, the same one worn by her older brother George when he was christened.
The original was made in 1841 for the christening of Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal.
The original gown was subsequently worn for all Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren, until the youngest of The Queen’s eight grandchildren, James, Viscount Severn.
The Queen commissioned Angela Kelly to make a hand-made replica of the Royal Christening Robe in order to preserve the original.
More to come.
