Princess Charlene dazzled in Dior as she and her husband, Prince Albert, honoured acting icon Robert Redford at Monaco gala over the weekend.

Keeping his mother Grace Kelly’s memory well and truly alive, Albert and his wife awarded Robert Redford the 2015 Prince Rainier III Award at the annual Princess Grace Awards Gala.

The Prince Rainier III Award recognises a leader in the arts who’s accomplishments also include service to the community. Robert’s wife, Sibylle Szaggars, was also named a recipient.

The 79-year-old and his wife will also get a $25,000 grant to give to the philanthropic organisation of their choice.

While Robert may have been the winner, it was Princess Charlene’s stunning Dior outfit that was the night’s show stopper! She oozed sophistication and channelled Grace Kelly’s timeless style is a short-sleeved black gown with red sequin detailing.

Robert, pictured in 1960 on the left, has starred in classics like Out of Africa, The Great Gatsby and The Way Were Were.

The couple were all smiles as they celebrated with recipients Robert and his wife, Sibylle Szaggars, at the annual Princess Grace Awards Gala.

While Dior sponsored the awards, it was Princess Charlene’s stunning outfit by the French luxury label that was the night’s show stopper.

Recently, the former South African swimmer has shown the world a new side of her, as Charlene has been coming out of her shell and delivering several moving speeches.

The royal couple, who welcomed twins last year, couldn’t contain their PDA as they watched on.

Robert and his wife were both honoured to win. The award recognises a leader in the arts who’s accomplishments also include service to the community.
