There’s nothing we love more than a royal wedding (well, perhaps a royal baby!), and now we know when to expect Princess Beatrice to walk down the aisle.
The 31-year-old royal is to wed property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 36, this year, and now the couple’s official wedding date has been revealed.
Much like Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s nuptials, Beatrice and Edo’s wedding will take place in British springtime on May 29, according to a report by PEOPLE.
That’s just days after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrate their second wedding anniversary on May 19, however the wedding will be a lot more low-key than their’s.
The report revealed that the reception will take place at Buckingham Palace and though the location of the ceremony service is not yet confirmed, it’s expected to be nearby like the Royal Military Chapel, also known as the Guards Chapel, a nearby church.
However, questions have arisen as to whether the bride-to-be’s father, Prince Andrew, will play a significant role in the nuptials.
The Duke of York was at the centre of scandal after his connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was revealed and he stepped down from his public duties as a senior member of the royal family.
But according to PEOPLE‘s source, Prince Andrew will “definitely” walk her down the aisle, adding that “he plays a very traditional role in her life,” and that she’s “his greatest supporter.”
“This is obviously very hard times,” the insider explained. “Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his.”

Princess Beatrice hasn’t let family scandals deter her from celebrating her happy news.
The couple hosted an engagement party at London’s Chiltern Firehouse in December and while her father skipped the celebrations, her mother Sarah Ferguson was photographed arriving.
Beatrice’s A-list pals were also in attendance, including singer Ellie Goulding, James Blunt and even Duchess Catherine’s younger siblings Pippa and James Middleton, with their respective partners, James Matthews and Alizee Thevenet.
