Princess Eugenie has delighted royal fans by debuting a slew of unseen photos in honour of her older sister Princess Beatrice’s birthday.
Taking to Instagram, the royal shared multiple photos of the sisters, including a fun selfie with Zara Tindall in which Bea even pulled a ‘duck face’.
A stand out snap was definitely a behind-the-scenes photo from the Queen’s Jubilee Thanksgiving service, featuring Beatrice’s stunning blue frock and Eugenie’s bold orange outfit.
To accompany the sweet photos, the younger royal penned: “Happy Birthday to my special big sissy. Love you so much 🥳🥳🥳🎉😘🎂🎁🎈🎊.”
The tribute was quick to garner plenty of support from royal fans.
“You both look gorgeous,” one user wrote.
“Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures,” another added.
“We hope she has a lovely birthday 🤍,” a third shared.
Bea and Eugenie have always been especially close growing up.
Before Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank became roomies, the sisters even lived together in a four-bedroom apartment at St James’ Palace.
In 2008, just before her 18th birthday, Eugenie gave her first media interview to The Telegraph, where she explained how she and her sister have very different personalities, yet their difference made them closer.
“We get on fantastically well, perhaps because we do and think different things,” she said.
“I am definitely not as polite as Beatrice, I have to say. I tell it as it is. I am shyer at first. Like, at a party I will say to Beatrice as we go in, ‘Oh, you go first.'”
She continued: “But then, when we’re actually in, I am much louder and she is far more polite and solicitous.”
What has made them even closer is becoming aunties just seven months apart – meaning their kids are growing up together.
Eugenie and husband Jack introduced their son, August Philip Hawke, to the world in early 2021 following his birth on February 9.
Meanwhile, Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sienna, in September that year.

Ever the proud sister, Eugenie took to social media to pay tribute to her big sister and her latest addition, penning: “Congratulations on your new angel. I can’t wait to meet her and I’m so proud of you,” she wrote.
“We’re going to have so much fun watching our children grow up. Love Euge.”
