Prince William to the rescue

Onlookers at an accident got more than they bargained for when Prince William landed the air ambulance.

After the collision of a car and an ambulance yesterday, the East Anglican Air Ambulance service responded to the emergency call.

Onlookers got a surprise when Prince William was one of the air ambulance crew attending the accident in St Albans, Watford at around 10am reports [Watford Observer](http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/NEWS/13784186.Prince_William_lands_air_ambulance_in_Watford/?ref=erec|(target=”_blank”).

The collision injured four people, with one of them being in a critical condition, after the car and ambulance collided.

No patient was aboard the ambulance at the time but the two ambulance staff and two members of the public were all transported to hospital.

A field trip from local school, West Herts College, was nearby and the students rather dazzled to catch the future King at work.

Their lecturer, Jirapa Harding said : “The students were very impressed, but weren’t allowed any selfies.”
