Prince William and Prince Harry’s sibling bond looks to be stronger than ever, especially as a beautiful, heartfelt letter comes to light.

The Duke of Cambridge opened up in a note written to the organisation behind the Diana Award, which works to stop bullying and supports those who have experienced unfair treatment.

And while the organisation has been around for many years, the two brothers seem prouder than ever of their mother’s namesake legacy – William’s words certainly saw to that.

The letter was shared to the organisation’s official Instagram account, with Wills’ personal note displayed for their following to see.

“I wanted to write to send my support and thanks to all the staff, volunteers and supporters of The Diana Award. My brother and I remain ever appreciative of the work you do to foster, develop and support young people, particularly at this time of uncertainty,” the Prince wrote.

He continued: “Whilst you are finding yourselves adapting to new ways of working, there is no doubt that your support for young people, through what will be anxious and unsettling times for many, is as important as ever.”

He finished simply: “This comes with my very best wishes for good health to you and your families over the coming weeks.”

Fans were excited to see such a united display from the brothers, especially for a charity so closely connected with their late mother.

“Lovely message, such wonderful brothers, Diana would be so proud,” wrote a fan.

Another said: “Very touching, and emotional, I love these Royal brothers any time any day.”

The two Princes’ have supported the Diana Award for a number of years.

The emergence of the letter comes after it was reported the two brothers, whose turbulent relationship became known last year when Harry referenced it in an unprecedented documentary about himself and Meghan, are now becoming closer again.

According to royal commentator Katie Nicholl, the brothers have reunited after a series of stressful events brought them back together.

A feat serendipitously common between families and friends amid the lockdown of COVID-19, the two brothers have been in frequent touch to check in on each other, even more so since their father Prince Charles himself was diagnosed with coronavirus.

The two brothers have come together in the wake of the global pandemic, according to a royal commentator.

Nicholl elaborated to ET: “There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone.”

She continued: “They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch.”

And if that’s the case, William’s personal letter this week certainly suggests that things have healed between the brothers.

Things between the siblings appeared stressed last year when Harry and Meghan broke away from the Royal Foundation and split their houses from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

That said, they’ve continued to be united for causes close to their hearts.

In July last year, the pair played together in a charity polo match, and were seen a handful of times at joint engagements together, including Trooping the Colour and Remembrance Day services.

And if there is anything that this current pandemic has taught us, it’s that family, and our closest loved ones are the most important thing.
