Kensington Palace confirmed on Tuesday night that the royal will visit Sydney in “early June.”
“Prince Harry will attend events to celebrate the city’s hosting of the 2018 Invictus Games, the international sporting competition for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women founded by the prince in 2014,” a spokesperson said.
The former military man founded the games in 2014, which he created for wounded servicemen and women.
Nikki Webster, if you’re free to jump out of the sky for a second time…
The games kick off next October and will take place at Sydney Olympic Park and around Sydney Harbour.
Before he arrives Down Under, Singapore will get time with the royal first with Harry to take part in a charity polo match for the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup.
Sentebale is another charity founded by Princess Diana’s youngest.
Following in his mother’s footsteps Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho established the organisation in 2006.
Today, Sentable is fast becoming the leading organisation in supporting children living with HIV in Southern Africa.
No word if Harry will be joined by his leading lady Meghan Markle, but on behalf of the city of Sydney, we’re ready to suit up!
