He might not have picked his best man yet, but rumour has it Prince Harry’s bucks party will be in Verbier, Switzerland and the party to end all parties.
According to the Daily Star the 33-year-old, who will marry Meghan Markle on May 19, will bid adieu to singledom by having a proper “booze-up with pals at his favourite Swiss bar, La Vache.”
The bar is all kinds of swanky, with the menu designed by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, and it happens to be co-owned by rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio, singer James Blunt, motorcyclist Carl Fogarty, and restaurateur Rob Sawyer.
The publication reveal that La Vache has already been scouted by royal protection officers to make sure it can be locked down and secured for the big bash.
“I have just seen Harry’s advance close-protection team come into La Vache for lunch. They are clearly on a recce,” the insider shared.
“Quite a few of the staff recognised the Royal Protection Officers who skied with Harry in 2016.”
“Once their cover was blown they made a quick exit as a few locals started asking if he was coming.”
The Swiss town is a royal hot spot, with Harry’s uncle Prince Andrew owning a holiday home there called the Chalet Helora.
A friend of Harry’s told the Daily Star, “Prince Andrew cleared the diary of Chalet Helora as a gift from himself and the Duchess of York.”
Living by the mentality that you can never party enough, it is also expected that the soon-to-be newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also have a joined “hag” do – a joint stag and hen celebration.
Insiders believe that will take place back in the UK at Harry’s favourite polo club.
Meghan, 36, will still get to ring in her wedding with a Bachelorette party, which will likely be held in her hometown of California.
