If you don’t take a moment to stop what you’re doing and watch the adorable video of Prince Harry speaking about the birth of his Royal Baby boy, you’re missing out big time.
Indeed the doting new father issued a surprise video statement to press shortly after his wife Duchess Meghan gave birth to a baby boy on May 6 – and it’s a true sight to behold.
The Prince looked overjoyed as he was filmed near his home in Windsor, where he said: “Mother and myself had a baby boy this morning.”
The royal then added that both Meghan and their baby were doing well, adding: “It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.”

In a beautifully candid moment, Harry at one point seemed completely overcome with emotion as he said with a laugh: “How any women does… what they do is beyond comprehendible.”
“We’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there, it’s been amazing so we just wanted to share this with everybody.”
Speaking of his wife Meghan, Harry added: “I’m incredibly proud of my wife.”
He also spoke about his feelings towards the newborn baby, adding: “Every father and parent will say your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely to die for. I’m over the moon.”

And that wasn’t the only exciting thing Prince Harry shared in the interview – he also confirmed exactly when we can expect to get our first glimpse of the new baby!
“For us I think we’ll be seeing [the press] in probably two days time as a family to be able to share it with you,” he said, before adding excitedly, “so everyone can see the baby!”.
And as for the biggest question on everyone’s minds, Prince Harry didn’t hold back from talking baby names, stating: “Still thinking about names, um, it’s a little bit overdue so we’ve had a bit of time to think about it, but that’s the next bit.”

As news of the Royal Baby reaches all corners of the world, fans and royal fellows alike are sharing their well wishes with the proud new parents.
Indeed fans swarmed on Windsor late last week when it was understood that Meghan had surpassed her due date – so it would be safe to say there’ll be plenty of celebrations happening there in the days to come!

Meanwhile members of the royal family themselves are also “delighted” at the news, as confirmed in a statement from Buckingham Palace, which mentioned the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Duchess Catherine among those who had been informed.
Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland was also thrilled with her new grandchild, with the Palace confirming she was with Harry and Meghan at their home Frogmore Cottage.

Over the next two days, we can expect to see the framed easel be erected outside Buckingham Palace, informing the public of the birth of Baby Sussex.
As per tradition, it will stay up for 24 hours before being sent to privy council.
Afterwards, it is expected that Harry and Meghan will attend their first photo call as a family of three, understood to take place in Windsor.
