The weather may have been miserable in London, but on Wednesday the royals were all sunny smiles as they stepped out to attend the Queenโ€™s latest garden party at Buckingham Palace.

And Her Majesty was not alone for her third garden party of the season, rather, she was accompanied by three of her grandchildren: Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

It seems that pink was the colour of choice for the royal ladies with the Queen leading the way in her blush ensemble and matching umbrella.

But we have to admit, Prince Andrew and Sarah Fergusonโ€™s daughters stole the show when it came to the style stakes.

While newlywed Princess Eugenie, who attended without her husband Jack Brooksbank wore a pleated, nude Sandro dress, her sister Princess Beatrice opted for a stunning floral frock by The Vampireโ€™s Wife, reportedly worth a staggering ยฃ1,525 (AUD2,785).

Princess Eugenie took to Instagram to share her delight sharing three photos from the event.

โ€œThis afternoon, my sister and I attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in support of Her Majesty,โ€ she captioned her post. โ€œI really enjoyed meeting such a diverse group of people who were all invited in recognition of their work in their respective communities.โ€

Despite the weather, the royals were in fine form at the Queenโ€™s latest garden party.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry looked very dapper in his morning suit as he greeted the various guests in attendance.

He may be tired from those late nights up with Archie, but the Duke of Sussex didnโ€™t show it as he met members of the English, Bangladeshi and Indian cricket teams. In fact he even sledged Australian captain Aaron Finch saying, โ€œYouโ€™re getting on a bit now, arenโ€™t you? How long have you been playing?โ€ making the batsman laugh.

Harry met with several other guests including some whom he and Duchess Meghan extended a personal invitation to based on their community work.

And though sheโ€™s still on maternity leave, Prince Harry also greeted some representatives from Duchess Meghanโ€™s various patronages including members from The Mayhew, The National Theatre and Smartworks as well as The Association of Commonwealth Universities.

While weโ€™re not expecting to see Duchess Meghan for a few more weeks at least, this garden party did make us think of the same occasion last year.

Last yearโ€™s garden party was the Duchess of Sussexโ€™s first royal engagement following her fairytale wedding to Prince Harry at St Georgeโ€™s Chapel. Dressed in a pale pink-and-taupe silk-crepe design by Goat, which featured sheer long sleeves and an empire waist and with her hat on top of her elegant chignon, it was a departure from her premarital style and the first sign that the former Suits star had begun her royal transformation.

Who knows, we may even see Archie next year!
