They’re the royal brothers the world has watched grow up before our eyes who were once as thick as thieves.
But as Prince Harry and Prince William’s lives continue to drift in different directions, it appears the pair’s relationship has seismically shifted.
As per People Magazine‘s report, Prince William, 36, and Prince Harry, 34, kept their distance from one another during the royal family’s latest outing for their annual Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on April 21st.
In a stark contrast to previous appearances, William and Harry didn’t talk to each other as they made their way in and out of the church.
In the past, William, Catherine and Harry would enter the church together, but this year, in an unprecedented and curious move, Harry walked in with his cousin Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn Phillips.
While Prince William and Duchess Catherine entered separately, flanked by cousins Zara Tindall, Mike Tindall and Princess Beatrice.

When the family lined up outside of the church to pay their respects to The Queen, who was celebrating her 93rd birthday, Harry, who was riding solo as his heavily-pregnant wife Duchess Meghan skipped the outing, was again keeping his distance from his older brother and wife, with several family members standing between them in the line-up.
Many fans have been quick to comment on the brother’s frosty Easter appearance, while a source explained to ET there was “an obvious distance between the two.”
Adding that the pair are at “different stages in their life” and are “no longer the boys” they once were.
As we all know, nothing the royals do is ever a coincidence and every public outing is planned and choreographed down to the minute so there is a lot to unpack here.
Indeed, Body language expert Judi James told UK outlet Fabulous Online Harry was “desperate to avoid” Prince William.
“It was Harry’s peculiar body language behaviour once he was in closer proximity to his brother that really added to the huge question that has been hanging over their heads for months,” James said.
James also noted how uncomfortable Harry looked, explaining: “Harry, Kate and William had always been so well bonded but suddenly it was Harry looking serious and using body language cues to hint at some heightened levels of anxiety when he was with them.”
Harry and William’s latest strained appearance comes off the back of recent reports the brothers have had a falling out over Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.
According to Vanity Fair‘s royal reporter Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry and Prince William clashed in Christmas 2017 after Harry claimed his older brother wasn’t making enough effort to welcome his soon to be wife Meghan into the family.
“Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so,” a source told Vanity Fair.
In fact, their rift got so bad that their father Prince Charles apparently had to intervene.
“They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them,” the insider explained.
UK outlet The Express also revealed Harry was reportedly sick of living in his brother’s shadow.
“Harry knows he will always be in William’s shadow and for many years he has felt like a bit of a spare wheel, dragging along behind his brother and Kate,” a friend revealed to The Express.
“Now he has a life of his own and a family of his own. It is perfectly natural to want to be more independent.”
Sisters-in-law Duchess Catherine and Duchess Meghan have also copped their fair share of reports that they are “very different people” who “don’t really get on.”
Adding weight to the matter, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan recently moved out of Kensington Palace for the more secluded surrounds of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and will no longer be neighbours with Kate and William.
