He’s previously been called the “Party Prince”, so when Harry celebrates his 30th birthday later this year, it’s sure to be one lavish Royal event.
Prince Harry will celebrate his turn of the decade in September this year when the younger royal celebrates his 30th birthday. Plans are already in place for a lavish “St. Moritz” themed bash at Kensington Palace – where his older brother Prince William and Duchess Catherine reside.
St Moritz is a Ski resort town, located in the Swiss Alps, and is renowned as a popular holiday hotspot for Harry and his fellow royals, with Europe’s aristocrats flocking to the area every winter ski season.
To go with the theme, one of the Palace’s large drawing rooms – previously used for art classes – will be redecorated with an all-white theme. No expense will be spared as the room is redecorated with white leather sofas and drapes – to mirror the Swiss ski resort that serves as a playground to the world’s rich and famous.

The event is expected to be quite intimate – with only 30 guests invited, including his brother Prince William and wife Duchess Catherine. Harry is reportedly keen to keep things elegant and tasteful to show that his clubbing days are behind him as he matures and comes of age.
It will be interesting to see if the young Prince attends his birthday bash solo or with a date. Prince Harry reportedly took over the planning of the party from his ex Cressida Bonas, whom he split with in April this year. The newly single Prince was recently seen chatting to a mystery blonde as he attended the Horse Guards Parade hosted by his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
