Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan seem to be adjusting well to non-royal life, now that they’ve stepped back as senior members of the prestigious family.
The couple have already been stripped of their HRH titles, but according to a new report, the Queen has ordered Harry and Meghan to also drop their Sussex Royal brand, seeing as the “royal” element does not apply to them anymore.

(Image: Getty Images)According to the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English, the Queen and senior officials underwent long and complex talks about the matter, but decided that “it is no longer tenable for the couple to keep the word ‘royal’ in their ‘branding’.”
“In many ways this is inevitable given their decision to step down, but it must surely come as a blow to the couple as they have invested everything into the Sussex Royal brand,” the source told the publication.
“The Queen would have had little choice, however. The Sussexes’ original plan – of being half-in, half-out working royals – was never going to work.
“If they aren’t carrying out official duties and are now seeking other commercial opportunities, they simply cannot be allowed to market themselves as royals.'”

(Image: Getty Images)The Sussex Royal brand is featured on their new website dedicated to community, the monarchy and the Commonwealth as well as in their Instagram handle of their account that currently boasts over 11 million followers.
Word is the couple are also in the process of setting up a new charity by the name of Sussex Royal: The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
But despite ditching their royal duties, the Queen has requested Harry and Meghan to fly back to the UK for a significant event held in March – the annual Commonwealth service.

According to the Sunday Times, Harry and Meghan will be expected to attend the service at Westminster Abbey on March 9, and little Archie will most likely be there too.
However, the couple will return to their new Canadian home shortly afterwards and resume their life away from the spotlight.
In her original statement granting Harry and Meghan permission to step back from the spotlight, the Queen highlighted that they along with Archie “will always be much loved members” of the family.
“I recognise the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life.”
