However, there is one detail of the royal coupling still yet to be determined: where on earth did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle honeymoon?

This week Prince Harry flatly denied the top pick for the couple’s honeymoon destination, so where does that leave us?

There has been a wild goose-hunt to discover the exact destination of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s post-wedding holiday.

It was first reported by Travel + Leisure, the couple were to honeymoon in Namibia, a perfectly fitting destination as the couple visited the continent multiple times.

Indeed, Africa holds dear significance to Harry who once confessed, “I feel more like myself than anywhere in the world.”

It was also widely reported that Meghan joined Harry on a private trip to Botswana in 2016. And the pair returned, a year later, for the former Suits star’s 36th birthday.

Namibia, sounded like a viable honeymoon option!

A series of reports then had the couple rerouted to a castle in Ireland, after locals tweeted security had tightened in the supposed location.

Soon after, it was reported the couple were taking their newly-wedded-bliss to Canada to stay in a romantic lodge. But a representative for the accommodation quickly ended further speculation the couple were headed to the luxury mountain hideaway.

A red hot tip suggested the couple could stay in luxury Namibian camp, Hoanib Valley Camp.

So back to Namibia it was!…Until Prince Harry threw a spanner in the works on Tuesday during the event at Buckingham Palace.

When greeting leaders from the Queen’s Young Leaders programme, Prince Harry came across gutsy Mavis Elias, a philanthropist from Namibia, who asked the Prince if he had honeymooned in her country of residence.

Harry replied, “No, we didn’t go to Namibia,” and then gestured toward the media close by. “I’m not going to say where…”

And so the honeymoon plot thickens!

It was a ‘No Reservation’ from Jasper Park Lodge in Canada!

Most royal honeymoon destinations have been revealed: Duchess Kate and Prince William travelled to a private island in the Seychelles post-wedding, Prince Charles and Camilla had two honeymoons first in Balmoral Estate in Scotland and then a cruise hopping around the Greek Island.
