The cheeky 31-year-old compared his sibling to his television namesake, Will McKenzie played by Simon Bird, from The Inbewtweeners.
According to reports from The Sun, Prince William shares similar characteristics to Will, who is adorably geeky.
“Harry used to watch The Inbetweeners with William and would often point out the similarities,” a source told the British newspaper.
Adding, “His brother has always been the more sensible and reliable of the two, and the show’s Will never gets into trouble either – so you can see why Harry makes the comparison.”
We imagine the Duke of Cambridge will be thoroughly amused by Harry’s comparison.
It was reported when comedy show – which has a distinctly adolescent male sense of humour – released a film spin-off in 2011, Duchess Catherine and William caught a screening at their local movie theatre in Anglesey.
One moviegoer was chuffed when they noticed the royal duo enjoying the cheeky flick.
“At one point I was cringing so much I had to look away, then saw Wills and Kate,” the onlooker recalled to The Sun.
“You’d never have expected them there. But they were loving it, and were in hysterics through the whole film. Their regal position obviously hasn’t affected their down-to-earth sense of humour.”
