Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be stepping back from their roles in the royal family, but their list of A-list pals just keeps on growing.
And in a brilliant reveal on Instagram, one of the pair’s most well known acquaintances has come to light – and it was made clear via a a hilarious, unprecedented text exchange.
Sharing a video to Sussex Royal’s Instagram account, Prince Harry’s exchange with the famed singer Jon Bon Jovi was revealed.
“Hey Harry, hows it going?” Bon Jovi’s text says.
Prince Harry appears to immediately reply, saying: “Hey! I’m good! Just livin’ on a prayer…”
Bon Jovi replies: “I’m in London on the 28th of February and have an idea #Invictus.”
Prince Harry quickly responds: “Nice! Is it you and the band?”
Bon Jovi then tells Harry that it’s just him at this stage, but that he has some “back up” that he thinks will work.
Thinking it’s a reference to himself, Harry responds: “Ha! Don’t expect me to sing… BUT I’ll give it a shot!”
Um… does this mean what we think it does?
The comments section of the post was immediately filled with joyful reactions from fans.
One wrote: “Harry to become a singer!! I knew it! New chapter, new job!”

It has been confirmed that Harry and Bon Jovi will be meeting at Abbey Road Studios on Friday, February 28, where they will record a special single with the Invictus Games Choir.
The song they will record, Unbroken, was written by Bon Jovi, and will be created in conjunction with the Invictus Games Foundation.
The games themselves were created by the Prince for wounded and ex-service men and women, who compete in a series of different sports.
This year, the games will take place in the Netherlands in May.
