Prince Harry is about to complete his final chapter as a working royal after officially touching back down in the UK.
The 35-year-old Prince was spotted disembarking a train at Edinburgh Waverley Station, where he is expected to soon host a summit for sustainable tourism organisation, Travalyst.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Harry was spotted in a cap and puffer jacket as he left the station, no doubt to head straight to his accommodation for a good night’s kip.
Harry travelled to the UK after spending the last few weeks in Canada, where it is understood he and Meghan will be setting up a new home base.
While it’s not confirmed as to whether wife Meghan and their son Archie have also travelled back to the UK alongside Harry, the Duchess is confirmed for several appearances in the country next week.
At the Travelyst Summit, Harry is expected to unveil a new “holiday scheme” that will ultimately encourage tourists to put the environment front of mind when it comes to travelling.
The event is the first in a busy itinerary for Harry, who will then head back to London on Friday to take part in a choir recording session in collaboration with his self-founded Invictus Games.
The world will no doubt be riveted by what the session entails – not least because musical legend Jon Bon Jovi will be in attendance.
There is also potential for Harry himself to try his hand at singing. We can’t wait to see this!
Harry won’t be flying solo for long – next week, the Duke will be joined by wife Meghan as they attend the Endeavour Fund Awards on March 5.
They will also attend the Mountbatten Music Festival on March 7.
The glitzy engagements would have been part and parcel to their schedule had they decided to continue working as senior royals, but given the Duke and Duchess’ decision to step back, the events now hold an extra special significance.
Indeed this will be the last time we properly see Meghan and Harry fulfil their duties as senior royals before they begin their transition into a financially independent life outside of the royal family.
While it’ll be sad to see them become less involved in these events, we’re very excited to see what’s in store for them!
