Dressed in uniform, the fourth in line to the throne, joined veterans to remember the tens of thousands Polish and New Zealand troops who died.

The prince laid a wreath at the Polish War Cemetery and attended a ceremony at the Commonwealth cemetery with New Zealand Governor-General Sir Jerry Mateparae.
