On Monday, while in Grenada, Prince Harry announced nine new Royal Household hospitality scholarships.

Queen Elizabeth’s royal household will be searching for budding chefs, hosts, housekeepers and those looking to grow their experience in caring for art and furnishings.

Prince Harry is loving his time in the Caribbean.

Sadly, you can only apply if you’re from the Caribbean.

The 32-year-old explained the project during a reception in Grenada with Governor General Cecile La Grenade and Prime Minister Keith Mitchell.

The new Royal Household Hospitality Scholarships will give nine young professionals across each of the “Queen’s realms of the Caribbean” the chance to work at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle for six weeks next year, ending in June at the end of one the biggest social events of the year, Royal Ascot.

“These young people will then come home and share their skills and knowledge with others working across hotels and restaurants,” Harry explained.

The hospitality training will take place at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

It will range from culinary skills, to housekeeping, to front of house duties. Lucky participants will also help The Queen and senior members of The Royal Family plan events.

Harry, who is currently in Grenada, is in the midst of his two-week royal tour of the Caribbean on behalf of Queen Elizabeth.

While his trip has been marred with mishaps and focus on his new budding romance with Suits actress Meghan Markle, the former military man is very excited to put the spotlight on something else he loves – The Invictus Games.

A kiss for granny! Harry made the announcement on behalf of the Queen.

“Hello Canada! I know you are all eagerly awaiting the kickoff for the 104th Grey Cup, but I just wanted to steal a moment of your time,” the 32-year-old explains.

Adding, “I cannot think of a better way to mark 2017 than by paying tribute to the soldiers and their families who have served their country so bravely.”

Inviting the nation to get involved he concluded, “I hope you all will get behind the Canadian team and join us next September. I guarantee you’ll be entertained, moved and inspired by the very best of the human spirit.”
