Royals and who is tipped to be the Best Man

Family is a huge factor for Prince Harry, who is delighted to be adding “another member to his team”.

Looking at past royal weddings we know British Prime Minister Teresa May will be at the event, along with our PM Malcolm Turnbull.

Given the UK’s friendship with Canada, it is likely we’ll see Justin Trudeau.

Topping this list would have to be Prince Harry’s dear friends Michelle and Barack Obama.

The former president was quick to voice his happiness for the new couple.

“Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement. We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together,” he tweeted.

And there’s little doubt in our mind that Michelle would have sent her “dear friend” a personal message of congratulations.

Obama’s successor, President Donald Trump, might not be as lucky.

Trump has done little to help his ties with the UK – with the nation even boycotting his state visit.

While Harry has never voiced his thoughts on the man, Meghan has been exceptionally clear, calling him “misogynistic”.

Prince Harry’s famous friends

In 2012, Becks told Esquire that he has a “very normal relationship” with Harry and William, remarkingthey’re “very easy to get along with.”

Being a dashing Prince certainly has its perks.

In his 33 years, Prince Harry has made some very famous friends, who will no doubt be at the ready to help their good mate mark this huge milestone in his life.

Both Harry and Prince William are fab pals with Victoria and David Beckham.

The British power couple went to Kate and Wills 2011 nuptials, and will be ready for another huge bash.

Princess Diana’s dear friend Elton John will undoubtedly play a part in the big day, along with fellow musician Ellie Goulding – who performed at 2011 royal wedding.

Model Cara Delevingne, her sisters Poppy and Chloe along with Suki Waterhouse are all part of Harry’s inner circle.

Since Pippa Middleton hosted both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at her wedding, it would be likely that she and her new hubby James Matthews are afforded the same gesture.

Her future husband may be British royalty, but Meghan Markle is Hollywood royalty.

And the Suits actress will have a very colourful guest list for her big day.

The 36-year-old doesn’t have a relationship with her half-sister, Samantha, as they’ve been estranged for about a decade, so we imagine that she won’t feature in the bridal line up.

While we can’t wait to see Meghan Markle’s parents mum Doria Ragland and her father Thomas Markle on the royal balcony, something tells us her just like Sam, Thomas Markle Jr might be sitting this one out.

Meghan’s second family – her dear friends – will be vital for the big day.

The day will be filled with love

Will Duchess Catherine be Meghan Markle’s maid of honour

Kate is very close to Harry and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she played a role in the big day!

Duchess Catherine would be heavily pregnant at the time of her brother-in-law’s Spring 2018 nuptials.

Woman’s Day did report that Meghan did ask Catherine to be a part of her bridal party, gifting her a gorgeous rose gold solitaire diamond bracelet from Tiffany & Co. worth close
to $2000.

The Cambridges are a huge fan of Meghan

“I’d been seeing her for a period of time when I literally didn’t tell anybody at all,” Harry shared in his first interview as betrothed man.

“And then William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine, so you know being our neighbors, we managed to get that in a couple of—well quite a few times now and Catherine has been absolutely…”

“She’s been wonderful,” Meghan gushed.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s starring role

Uncle Harry describes his niece and nephew as “everything”.

It will come as little surprise that our favourite junior Cambridges Prince George and Princess Charlotte will play a part in their Uncle Harry’s wedding day.

It is expected young George will be a ring bearer, while Charlotte will be a flower girl.

The little tots already have experience with the bridal responsibility, shining in these shoes at their Aunty Pippa Middleton’s wedding.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will play a huge part in their uncle’s big day.

Meghan Markle’s best friends Lindsay Roth and Jessica Mulroney

Meghan has been best friends with Lindsay Roth for over 15 years, with the pair meeting in college.

The Suits actress stepped up as her maid of honour for her gal pal over a year ago, and there would be little surprise if Lindsay returns the favour.

“I don’t know many people who are as generous and supportive as Meg is,” Lindsay told People.

“I think people assume that when someone gains notoriety that they change. But she’s still the same girl I met years ago, with the same values and priorities. She’s selfless, and that’s just a part of who she is and who she was raised to be.”

Meanwhile Jessica Mulroney and Meghan have been BFFs for over a decade- and constantly feature on each other’s socials.

Tennis star Serena Williams is a shoe-in!

They met in 2014, and instantly became pals.

“She quickly became a confidante I would text when I was traveling, the friend I would rally around for her tennis matches, and the down-to-earth chick I was able to grab lunch with . . .”

There’s a little part of us that wants Serena’s baby girl Alexis to join Prince George and Princess Charlotte in the bridal party.

We definitely can not forget Meghan’s Suits family.

Her on-screen fiance Mike Ross, played by actor Patrick J Adams, tweeted his joy for Meghan.

“Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious.”
