The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St Mary’s Hospital in London during the early stages of labour on July 22, 2013. As the world’s media descended on the streets outside the hospital, Kate gave birth to George Alexander Louis at 4.24pm. The third in line to the throne weighed a healthy 8 pounds 6 ounces (3.80 kg).

His Royal Highness was christened in October last year and has been present at numerous public engagements since then. His first was a playdate on April 9 at Government House, Wellington, New Zealand during the Royal Tour.

Over the past 12 months, the world has watched him grow into a cute and cheeky toddler. He is often photographed pulling faces, arms outstretched playing with toys and crawling away from his mother, Kate.

Let’s take a look back at Prince George’s magic milestones and his best moments to celebrate his first birthday!
