The royals announced the news on Monday via a Kensington Palace release.

“Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values,” it read.

While the school does offer the option to board, which has been popular among royals, the Cambridge kids are expected to be day students.

According to their website, “Lambrook is a leading co-educational Prep School for 615 boys and girls aged 3-13, set in 52 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside”.

The royals have a long history at Lambrook school. Queen Victoria even used to travel from Windsor Castle to the institution to watch her grandsons play cricket and perform in plays.

She would park her carriage where the school’s Queen building now stands.

What’s more, on its 52 acres, Lambrook has its own Orchard with bees, chickens and pigs, as well as woodland, a nine hole golf course, and many sports pitches.
