“Their Royal Highnesses the Grand-Duke and Grand-Duchess of Luxembourg are very pleased to announce that Prince Felix and Princess Claire are expecting their first baby,” the statement read.

“The birth is expected to take place in June. The Grand-Duke, the Grand-Duchess, Grand-Duke Jean and the members of the Royal Family, as well as the members of the Lademacher family, are delighted with the news.”

Felix and Claire married in two romantic ceremonies last year; an intimate civil ceremony in the German town of Konigstein, near Claire’s native Frankfurt, and a full religious affair in France’s 13th century Sainte Marie-Madeleine basilica.

Claire wore a stunning lace couture Elie Saab gown for the official ceremony. The couple then departed on a romantic honeymoon, the location of which was kept top secret.
