He may be the heir to the throne, but Prince Charles is also a doting grandfather to a handsome little Prince George.
And here’s the picture to prove it!
While participating in his first ever live online chat, the Duke of Cornwall revealed a treasured moment he shared with his grandson just months after he was born.
As His Royal Highness was chatting to Google+ Hangout presenter Alex Jones, sitting on the mantelpiece behind him was a precious never-before-seen snap of an adoring Prince Charles lovingly cradling his adorable grandson on his christening day.
And while a picture is said to be worth a thousand words, this snap, which has pride of place in the Prince’s living room, is priceless.
The intimate family photograph was taken at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace in London back in October 2013 by celebrity photographer Jason Bell.
The then four-month-old Prince wears a replica of the lace gown made for Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter Victoria in 1841, which was worn at royal christenings until 2008.

Other pictures seen on display in the background included one of Prince William and Catherine’s wedding.
Earlier this week, an unseen portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their adorable son Prince George emerged on social media.

The beautiful family snap signed by the royal couple featured on a personalised thank you card sent by their Royal Highnesses to people who helped with trip to Australia and New Zealand earlier this year.
