Six-year-old Benjamin Cooper might just be Prince Charles’ biggest – or smallest – fan.
His admiration for the Prince started when he began studying the Royal Family at school. Now he insists on dressing just like him – suit and all!
The 67-year-old met his little ‘mini me’ when he made a visit to Redcar, England, upon hearing the closure of the town’s steel plant, leading to a loss of close to 2,000 jobs.
When the Royal made his way through the crowd to meet Ben and his family, he laughed as they explained Ben’s fascination with him.
“I like him because he was the smartest dressed when we studied them at school,” Ben said.
“I like to dress smart so I can be like Charles.”
His mother Elaine said Ben requested the suit as a present 18 months ago, and has even been wearing it to friends’ parties.
